The Moco Museum's collection of modern and contemporary art — including the world's largest permanent Banksy exhibition — comes alive after dark.

The Moco Museum (Modern Contemporary Museum) is housed in Villa Alsberg, a beautiful Art Nouveau villa on Museumplein. Its collection focuses on modern and contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on street art and pop art. The museum holds the world's largest permanent exhibition of works by Banksy, as well as works by Salvador Dalí, Roy Lichtenstein, and other major figures. On Museum Night, the museum presents a special programme exploring the relationship between street art and the museum world — a tension that Banksy himself has famously exploited. A local graffiti artist creates a live mural in the museum's garden.
