The Stedelijk Museum's Museum Night programme is legendary for its energy and unpredictability. The museum's iconic 'bathtub' extension becomes a venue for experimental electronic music, while the historic main building hosts performance art that blurs the line between audience and artwork. This year, the Stedelijk presents a specially commissioned light installation by a Rotterdam-based collective that responds to sound in real time, filling the entire atrium with shifting colours. The design collection is also open, with curators on hand to discuss the stories behind iconic pieces from Rietveld, Mondrian, and beyond.
